Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of transcribe.be and its transcription-related services.
Effective date: April 3, 2026
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using transcribe.be, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you should not use the service.
The Service
transcribe.be provides tools for uploading audio or video, generating transcriptions and producing related outputs such as text summaries or exported documents.
We may change, suspend, or improve features at any time as part of ongoing product development, maintenance or security work.
User Responsibilities
You agree that you will:
- upload only content you own or have permission to use and process;
- comply with applicable laws, regulations and third-party rights;
- not misuse the service, interfere with its operation or attempt unauthorized access.
Payments and Pricing
Certain features may require payment. Pricing, billing units, and payment flows displayed on the website apply at the time of purchase unless otherwise stated.
Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. Unless required by law, completed purchases are generally non-refundable once processing has started.
Content and Ownership
You retain responsibility for the content you upload. Subject to these Terms, you may use the output generated for you by the service, except where restricted by law or third-party rights.
We do not claim ownership of your uploaded files, but you grant us the limited rights necessary to host, process, and deliver the requested service.
Availability and Accuracy
We aim to provide a reliable service; but availability, accuracy, and output quality are not guaranteed. Automated transcriptions and AI-generated analysis may contain errors and should be reviewed before being relied upon.
Prohibited Use
You may not use the service for unlawful, harmful, infringing, deceptive, or abusive purposes: including attempts to upload content you are not authorized to process.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access where necessary to protect the service, comply with the law, address abuse or respond to security concerns.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, transcribe.be is provided on an as-is and as-available basis, without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from use of the service.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the service after an update means the revised terms apply.
